That's the amazing thing. I used to experiment. That whole "you can't have a dream in the first so-and-so-many minutes of sleep" is bullshit. I'd set my alarm for 6am. Then I'd wake up, and write down what I was dreaming. Then I'd go back to sleep, setting my alarm for 6.10am. I'd take 3 or 4 minutes to fall asleep, then 3 or 4 minutes later, my alarm would wake me up, and I might have, like, what felt like an hour's worth of dreaming to write down, which had to happen in the space of 3 or 4 minutes. It's because dreams know no sense of time. They are memories in your head, so they don't take any time to elapse. They can just flash through your head, and you can live days and weeks in the space of minutes.

Some say dejavu is our brain seeing what it will record in real life sometime in the future. That would mean the future has already happened and our brain transcends time.

Im surprised you remember your dreams enough to do that. 70-80% of the time I basically forget my dreams as soon as I wake up. the other 20-30% I will never forget. I find it funny in certain dreams u wake up right before the most exciting part, like DAMN I was at the good part lol

only found that out a few week ago as i was having some weird sleep experiences to looked into all sleep/dream related stuff and it says that even though dreams seem to last ages, they never last more than 1 minute.
incase you're wondering what my weird sleep experiences was, i often wake up in the middle of the night and i cannot move a muscle, my eyes open but i cannot move.... apparently it's called "sleep paralysis" and is quite common.

The dream was about my 2 favorite things, Renáta Somossy (AKA Sophie Sweet, etc) & Sydney...

In my dream I was looking for her in Sydney (the weird version btw, not the real city, but in my dream it was Sydney) & didn't find her. (not strange, considering she lives in Budapest).

That really is weird that your dreams only last a minute. A couple nights ago I had a dream that everything was happening just like a normal day. I saw my friends, went to work. It wasnt chronological though. The weird thing was, the people I saw were wearing strange clothes?
Also, one thing I will never forget, when I was a kid, I had this dream nearly EVERY night that this giant ice-cream cone came into my bedroom. It was about 7ft or something. It just stood there for 10 seconds and then went away. I didnt really look to see, but I dont think it had legs.
Also, another dream that reoccured nearly every night, this was after the ice cream, that I ran and jumped all the way down the stairs. I woke up before I hit the bottom.
