What annoys me about this argument is that alotta theistic Satanists think atheistc Satanism is less valid because the atheists don't believe in a literal Satan. It's like chaos magic. It's a metaparadigm. We both do similar rituals, use the same symbols, say the same names and probably have similar experiences. The only difference is in interpretation. So it is true that most casual satanists (teenagers/outcasts trying to be cool and rebellious) were sold on the whole "fun and freedom" tangle of lies, and most have absolutely no idea of the real nefarious agenda of Satanism or REAL Satanists. But if and when they find out, they most often cowardly bow their head to the forces that be, right along with their clue-less "Atheist" brethren.

I'm interested in conspiracy theories. They're entertaining. I think there's some truth to them. I don't doubt that there are magic(k)ians in power, but I think this is being seen through the eyes of Christian ignorance. I'm skeptical. I haven't seen the links yet. I need to do more research.
