"Smiles" graphics posting issue

I sometimes post graphics from the "smiles" gallery.
Since the site's major software changeover/upgrade a few years ago, I've noticed what appears to be a coding issue pertaining to their posting.
The coding assignments (I'm guessing the terminology) seems to have been reversed (see below):




I believe the top row of graphics (what's shown in the "smiles" library) is the intended appearance.

Is this the same for everyone, then?

I assumed it was just my browser doing weird shit but the icon I select often gets converted to something inferior from what the ones look like on the selection menu now that you mention it.

The set of emojis in the first link appear to be showing for you just like they are for me - when it's supposed to be the ones in the second link.

I still think there may be an element of it switching based on what device you are using but if people can reply and let us know what they are seeing then we can maybe look into it.
