Anyone played the demo yet? I thought this game was pretty badass... I'd love to spend more time on a full version of the game. First "flight simulator" I've had fun playing. The game was actually EXCITING!

I played the demo, expecting something along the lines of ace combat with a tom clancy twist. I dont know if im dazzled or annoyed by it. The graphics are amazing and controls fairly simple, but this "limiter off" has me a little perplexed. Its like trying to fly plane while looking at it from a static camera, so you can pull of acrobatic dog fighting manouvres. Problem is, how are you supposed to line up your nose for a straight shot when you cant be sure you are even pointing the direction you want to be?

I had to stop playing even the demo after a few minutes of that, it was to frustrating. Ill wait for further input on it after it comes out, but for now my excitemnt towards it has dwindled a little!

it looks like fun, i want to grab a copy for the PC since i have a decent joystick. . . yes i am that much of a nerd

i always thought they were called flight combat sims. . . flight sims are really boring to me as well

I think the demo is pretty cool. I like the idea of turning the "limiter" on and off because on is great in taking out tanks and other ground vehicles while off is great for dog fighting in the skies.

It's way too arcade, not something you would expect from the Tom Clancy's serie but I find it quite sad. Not simulation.

i agreee not realastic at all.....very disapointing.....focus on there main titles like rainbow, splinter cell and ghost recon........coz the last couple of rainbow games have been pretty poor.

Bought it, played it, returned in within two days. Aside from the frequent crashing (5 times in one hour), I agree with the rest it is a disapointing game. Forgive the comparison to Ace Combat 6, which I do feel is the superiour flight sim.

Graphically it lacked realism, you know those games where they are going for realism but dont quite get it right? Sorta like that.
Controls were very simple, didnt feel like i was flying a real plane. In the levels I played I never once had a challenging dogfight and the bombing run - make sure all the diamonds are in the circle and fire? Im sorry, but no.
Story....this was the most disapointing part, I read elsewhere on the xbox forums the ending of the game was disapointing (in fact anyone care to enlighten me what it was?)

Does anyone get the feeling tom clancy is just penning his name to any old crap these days. From what im reading the last batch of TC games have been awful. His plots arent exactly enthralling, your part of an elite group blah blah, terrorist threat over there, only you can stop them. I know its the formula for a ton of games, but when its from the same man its a little tedious. Im holding out for the next splinter cell and hoping that at least is worth buying, Hawx didnt last half a week, endwar was gone the next day.

Well it's sad to hear the full version didn't live up to peoples expectations. I'd still have to try it for myself as only I can judge how much I'd actually enjoy playing the full version, but... I'm not as excited about it anymore after reading various comments and reviews on the game... Kinda like the newest 360 exclusive racer Race Pro, wanted to play it REALLY band until the reviews poured in...
