I know I am super early, but what the hell...
Three years in a row I've had to cancel my visit there due to various circumstances, but I won't let that happen again next year!!!

Anyways, I'll invite people here that I think might be interested in going there, and use this as a platform to share news, thoughts, tips on hotels, bars, things to do in Berin if you want to leave the Messehalle, keep in contact with each others and so forth...

I was already planning on booking my hotel, but the prices came out way too high for me, way higher than previous years, and maybe that's because I'm TOO early searching?
Where do you guys stayed last time?
Where are you planning on staying in 2020?

I plan on coming by the morning flight at the day of the opening and hopefully I have found a hotel close to the convention by then for reasonable prices. Then I'll fly home again on the monday after.
It's been ages since I last visited Berlin, so besides the convention, I'm really excited to do some tourist things too.

I hope to see a lot of fellow FreeOnes members there!

Besides me asking for the things above, I hope this thread will be helpful for others, as well as a forum for us to discuss the performers etc. coming to the convention!

Looking forward to October 2020 already!!!

Here's a list of things I want help with already:

* Price-worthy hotels close to the Messehalle
* Good restaurants and bars
* Tourist things to do in Berlin
* Sex- and porn-related things to not miss in Berlin (touristic, shops, clubs, etc.)
* Do's and dont's in German etiquette

Cheers!!! Prost!!!

"VENUS 2020 will not take place
Unfortunately VENUS will not take place this year. The state of Berlin has banned major events until 24 October 2020 to contain the corona pandemic. We had hoped until the very end to find a solution for holding the fair this year. But we are not resting on our laurels now, instead we are going full steam ahead with planning for the next VENUS from 21-24 October 2021. And we have lots of plans. We will contact all exhibitors and sponsors shortly about the further procedure. Also for all those who have already bought tickets for this year, we will soon provide information about the procedure here.

We will miss you in October!"

Expected but still sad news... Fuck you Covid-19!
