After finishing school, Manon started to work as an esthetician and as a model in the evenings and weekends as a petite fashion show model. She decided to move on to a bigger city (Toronto) where she could find more work in modeling and also learn english, something that she always wanted. Well, Toronto was definetly a bigger and better City for Manon. While working in a clothing wearehouse Manon entered a lot of bikini contest, to help expand her contacts in the business of modeling. Also, appeared on the Cover of the Toronto Sun Newspaper as a Beach Girl, and several time as a Sunshine Girl (page 3), and got lot of publicity from it. She actually appeared in the Newspaper over 50 time, as a print and promotional model. Manon was requested to be the Trophy Girl for several Car & Monster Truck races in Toronto and work on the Big Molson Indy race. Also work as a Budweiser Girl.
