Music, mostly.

well El Diablo if you are like me, you gotta buy a ticket first. And my next one will be the first in many years.
Well, depends on the ticket. There IS A WAY! I've entered 2, the first is obvious, the 2nd is the '66 Impala SS. But you are right, can't win, if you don't play, and it only takes one to win.

When I was a kid I collected keyrings. but stopped collecting when I hit my teens as other things like music and girls were more interesting. My collection of them wasn't huge but had about a sports bag full of them. They're still at my parents place somewhere, probably in their loft.

As I got more into music from my teenage years I started buying CDs, and from there my collection has grown to a respectable 1000 odd. Again not a huge collection over the space of 25 years, but I consider CD's as something I collect :)
My collection may have been bigger had the CD industry not taken a nosedive over the past 10 years. There used to be proper CD stores like HMV and Virgin Megastore, but those have all gone now due to all the online streaming and stuff like that. I always loved looking around record stores looking for new music.
The only way to buy CDs is through Amazon or in second-hand/charity shops, the latter of which is quite hit and miss as I don't always find something I'm into.

I could go on about CD's, but I won't digress anymore 🤓

It does suck. I love album art, and I was bummed at first when cd's came out, because they were so small. Fortunately there are a couple of stores around my area called the cd exchange, and they buy and sell, new and used cd's, games, movies, etc., and it was cool just to be in the atmosphere of a record store....back when I was younger.

I guess I'm a dinosaur, I asked a guy I worked with to burn me a copy of something, and he told me his computer had no optical drive. When I asked him how he gets programs on and off, he said he downloads it all, or uses a flash drive, then told me what century it was, and called me gramps.

We digress!

Yes, I do like the album artworks myself too, although not all the music I like has great artwork...some is rather s***! It is mostly about the music for me though. I would easily spend a good few hours in a CD store back in the day just browsing, and then buying when I see something worth getting. God, I miss those times! 🤓

You're lucky you have a CD exchange near you...there some over here in the UK in various towns, but you have to travel a bit to get to them, and at the moment that's frowned upon due to the COVID situation we're in over here. Im kinda stuck to Amazon atm, but hopefully for not much longer! :)

As a teen, I used to head into downtown Pittsburgh to visit the National Record Mart. It was a couple floors of glorious vinyl (rare and unusual) - much better than the suburban mall shops which only stocked the popular stuff. Of course, that was the late 70s.

College towns are the places to find vinyl now. They seem to find the collections of 'mature' professors who are downsizing (or worse). It was fun to walk through with my college-age kids and pull out the ones I used to own. I was amused - not sure about them.

I have a collection of different types of toilet paper for the next shortage, but it seems I do like collecting, in various forms, sugar skulls.

Unleash that ketchup collection and really strut your stuff. I wanna see it. Do you have bottles, packets, or both?
Just bottles. I don't have many at the moment but it has got to the point where I started looking for different ones on Amazon.

This is how it ends, isn't it.

I smell PUSSY!
As I got older, I got away from the two-door coupes, and into sedans. So, of course, I had a couple of four-door sports-car sedans, aka Nissan Maximas! This was a 2000 SE, with a 227HP V-6. I really like the wheel design.

I live, again!
My main collection these days is porn but I also collect (online images, not actual cards) Wacky Pack stickers (https://www.wackypackages.org/) and their many variations which is currently over 2900 unique images. As for physical item collections, I've got a ton of sports cards and other cards (e.g. Star Wars cards) from the 70s, coins, comics, and vintage Atari computers and game consoles and games but I don't go out of my way to find any of that stuff anymore.

Oh my. I completely forgot about the Wacky Packages.
