I don't think it's "shitty," I think it is a consideration for the population.
I don't go to French, Japanese and other boards and expect them to read my English.

At least consider using an on-line translator.
That's what I've done on the few foreign language boards I've been on.
I just keep my posts simple and sweet and try to write in simple language that would translate well.
And I learn a bit as I go along.
