Was on the phone with Customer Support for a major pizza chain and guy heard me playing Master of Puppets. I quickly pulled this one up, add this to your Stranger Things playlist, my friend-

"Bitches Brew" - Miles Davis

47308782fs.jpg

  • Miles Davis – trumpet.
  • Wayne Shorter – soprano saxophone.
  • Bennie Maupin – bass clarinet.
  • Joe Zawinul – electric piano (left)
  • Chick Corea – electric piano (right)
  • John McLaughlin – electric guitar.
  • Dave Holland – bass.
  • Harvey Brooks – electric bass.

When I first bought the album at the age of 18, I considered it a totally wrong decision, and soon after I swapped it with the album a friend had and was not happy with, Arlo Guthrie's Greatest Hits. But some 25 years later, I got into Miles Davis agaion, and, when listening to these songs, I had to get a fresh copy. This time, on CD. Love it.

Nine Inch Nails - The Fragile.
Start from song 1, put on full-album-repeat and .. that was a go-to thing for years.
(I was a depressed and angry lad)

These days? "Kind of Blue" 1959 by Miles Davis.
It is just so consistently good and relaxing. At least the album version - you cant repeat a 'improv session' every single time, y aknow?
