will my new username propagate to Google search results? I can still see my old username associated to my posts

I changed my username recently and I see all of my posts are from my new username. But when I Google search my old username, it shows results for the posts as if I never changed usernames.
Will the change ever update there?

How long ago was it that your name was changed?

I found a thread in which someone had quoted one of your old posts; and therefore displays as your old username. I have edited it to your new one, so that shouldn't show up anymore; just give it some time to update now. It may well have been the only reason you found something in Google.
