It's perfectly fine not to like someone's choice for a candidate or whatever, but try and stay away from calling them all sorts of nasty things because of it. We're fine with good debates, but lets keep it about the subject, not the individual posting behind the opinion.

I was just going to let this go but a post on the mother talk forum brought up the issue of cyber bullying, which is definitely a bad thing.
But can we lay out what is NOT cyber bullying?

Sarcasm/satire on a political topic is not cyber bullying especially when it's not targeted at a specific person (a main characteristic of cyber bullying).
I attempted to clarify that point with further sarcasm (I understand Johan not getting it because he's french), but your mod saw fit to delete that post while leaving the offending one. If your mods are unable to distinguish what actual cyber bullying is, maybe they should stick to something they know like ... college football.
As recompense, I would like Connor Maclod to be banned (extra points if he bans himself) for one week's time OR in no less than 100 words, describe how he'd like to suck my cock, the more flowery the language the better.

I don't think he used the correct term when he took action, but I agree with him removing the post.
The rest of the nonsense you're going on about because you're annoyed or angry or whatever with him isn't going to fly, however. That would be closer to cyber bullying than the actual topic you're all miffed about. Maybe that's your point, but it's still not an excuse.

We've entered an age of deepfakes and photoshopped social media information. I'm just sick of people taking what they see online as gospel and getting all heated about it.
Be warned, if you don't have a source, you don't have any biases to freak out about something. Assume everything is false before believing its true.
